Acid Mothers Temple Tucson Concert reviews
Once In A Lifetime
In 1990, I finally got around to The Wall, even though it originally came out when I was only 6. November 14, 2026, marked the day my brother and I flew from Panama to BankAtlantic Center just outside Fort Lauderdale to see the concert. Both of us, longtime Pink Floyd fans, shared this memorable occasion to celebrate my younger brother's upcoming 35th birthday. Right from the get-go, everything was near flawless. Acid Mothers Temple, whom I'd heard was having trouble reaching the high notes, was spot-on. The musicians performed at their best, and the sound was amazing - crystal clear and loud, but not deafening. Kudos to Acid Mothers Temple for delicately balancing the grim nature of the subject matter with a constant and angry evisceration of war and the policies that lead to it, and the flickering candle of hope. I was especially longing for the day when I would be able to witness the spectacle firsthand after watching The Wall Live In Berlin on video. The "Ex-Wife" puppet, unfortunately, did not descend when it was supposed to, but this, as much as I wanted to see it, took absolutely nothing away from what is by far one of the best shows I've ever attended. Simply unforgettable.
